M113
The M113 entered production in early 1960 at FMC's San Jose Facility. The original model was powered by a gasoline engine but this was dropped in favor of a diesel version in 1963. The M113A1 began production in 1964. The last M113 series vehicle, a M577 command post, rolled off the assembly line in Nov. 1992. To date 74,003 M113 series vehicles have been built. |
